An Outstanding-rated primary school in Bordesley Green is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team in September 2025. This role focuses on delivering high-quality intervention support to small groups of pupils, helping them make progress in Maths and English.

Your Role:

Support targeted intervention groups in Maths and English across KS2

Assist pupils in closing gaps in learning and building confidence

Work collaboratively with class teachers and the SENCO to plan and deliver tailored support

Provide clear and constructive feedback to pupils and staff

Support the inclusive ethos of the school, adapting support to meet a range of needs

✅ Person Specification:

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous experience working in KS2, ideally with intervention groups or SEN support

Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)

Be confident supporting pupils in core subjects (Maths and English)

Be patient, proactive, and sensitive to individual learning needs

Demonstrate a genuine commitment to inclusive education and diverse learning communities

Be ready to contribute to a vibrant, collaborative school culture
