General Duties:To test and fault diagnose unitsDisassembly and assembly of unitsRepair units in accordance with repair proceduresRepair units in line with daily and weekly KPISBasic DiagnosingRe-EvaluationsUsing the PC diagnostic system and verifying test resultsUsing Windows Apps to obtain test software and create tools based on the provided instructionsReading technical documentationPart fitting and Final QC of multi-vendor brandsInsurance workUnderstand Teardown process and spare part retentionDiagnosing all laptops and difficult faultsSoftware issuesRepair of all laptop modulesSoldering
Skills & Experience Required:Essential:Confident in using small screw drivers and other tools.Knowledge of basic product function and interest in electrical repairKnowledge of hardware recognitionAble to use Windows appsExcellent attention to detailAble to think outside of the box to find solutionsBasic computer skills including use of databasesDedicated and able to follow processes.Excellent manual
