We are now seeking for a Learning Support Assistant to join this amazing school. As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will play a crucial role in supporting students within both 1:1 and group settings, focusing on their individual learning needs and ensuring they have the resources and guidance required to succeed. An OSPC (Overseas Police Check) is required if you have worked abroad for more than six months in the last five years. All school environments will need to have these as a safeguarding measure.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with SEND in 1:1 and group settings.

Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support each student’s unique needs.
Encourage and promote positive social interactions and behavior within the classroom.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary.
Create a safe, supportive, and motivating atmosphere where students feel confident in their learning abilities.
The ideal candidate will be patient, compassionate, and resilient, with a strong commitment to helping students achieve their full potential. You should be adaptable and able to support students with a variety of needs, showing empathy and understanding.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with students in an educational or similar setting.

Proactive and flexible approach to supporting student learning and development.
