Salary: £85 to £95 per day

We are excited to be working with a vibrant primary school in Canvey Island, looking to appoint a committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support a child in Key Stage 2 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The school is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment that supports the academic and social development of all its students.
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to provide tailored support, helping the child to engage with the curriculum and thrive within the school community. The role will involve providing one-to-one support, assisting with social interaction, and helping to implement personalized learning strategies.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with ASD (desired but not essential).
A patient, calm, and empathetic approach to supporting children with complex needs.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and the wider school team.
A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and develop strategies to best support the child.
