Role as a Learning Support Assistant
As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll be a crucial part of the SEN team, supporting students with a variety of learning and emotional needs. Your work will include in-class support, 1:1 intervention, and collaboration with SENCOs and external professionals.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND
* Supporting students’ emotional and academic progress
* Helping to implement personalised learning strategies and interventions
* Encouraging self-confidence and independence
* Contributing to team planning and student progress reviews
