The Role – Learning Support Assistant

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students aged 11 – 16, with varying SEMH needs, including: Autism, Speech, Language & Communication Needs. The main goal of a Learning Support Assistant would be to aid the students’ progression into further education. Therefore, providing a nurturing approach, plus having a strong academic background, is crucial for success as a Learning Support Assistant.

This SEMH school maintains a Good rating issued by Ofsted as of 2019. The school is an all-boys school based in Greenwich, with close transport links to the DLR, Elizabeth Line, Jubilee Line and several buses for public commuters.
