Job Title: Experienced Learning Support Assistant (Secondary Schools)
Location: Wirral and surrounding areas

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience (£85 – £100 per day)
Contract: Full-time and part-time roles available
About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in secondary schools across the Wirral. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ educational journeys, supporting their academic and personal development in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs, including those with SEN (Special Educational Needs) and EAL (English as an Additional Language).
Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive classroom environment.
Work one-to-one or in small groups to help students achieve their full potential.
Support students with behaviour management and emotional well-being.
Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure student progress.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar role within a secondary school setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential.
A valid Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
