Experienced Teaching Assistant Wanted for Secondary School in Wandsworth (Putney)
Are you an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting student success? About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our teaching staff to deliver high-quality education and tailored support for students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring every student receives the guidance they need to thrive, both academically and socially, in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support classroom teaching by assisting with lesson delivery and classroom management.
Provide targeted one-to-one and small group support to students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Help create an engaging and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and achievement.
Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers to aid in their development.
Build strong relationships with students, offering guidance, encouragement, and emotional support as needed.
Work closely with the wider school team to ensure a holistic approach to student development.What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting.
A strong understanding of the national curriculum and experience supporting students with SEN.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
Enthusiastic, proactive, and flexible in supporting the needs of students.
