We have an exciting opportunity to join our Development Team within Library and Information Services. As a Library Development Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting Library Development Officers to plan, coordinate, and deliver a diverse range of library programmes across all library locations.

The role involves representing the library service at community and partner events, ensuring strong engagement and collaboration. It also includes supporting the successful delivery of national and local initiatives and programmes by organising and distributing relevant information and resources. A key responsibility is collecting and analysing feedback and evaluation forms to support ongoing service improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a good general education to Higher Grade level or an equivalent qualification, or relevant experience. You will demonstrate a strong customer service focus, and have experience in maintaining high workplace standards. Excellent ICT skills are essential, along with strong time management and organisational abilities. Additionally, you must be willing to work flexibly, including outside normal office hours where necessary.
