The School of Student and Campus Experience at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Lifeguard in Queen’s Sport. Student and Campus Experience is currently seeking to appoint Lifeguard positions in Queen’s Sport to carry out lifeguard duties to ensure the safety of users of the pool whilst ensuring high levels of hygiene are maintained and complete daily pool water tests. You will be required to work as part of a flexible operational team across Queen’s Sport facilities and provide a courteous, efficient, and effective service to students and users. Excellent customer service will be at the heart of everything you do, and you will assist with cleaning, maintenance of equipment and upkeep of indoor and outdoor sports facilities. Both full-time (37 hours per week) and part-time (20 hours per week) posts are available. About the person: Queen’s Sport is currently seeking to appoint exceptional candidates to the posts of Lifeguards. These posts are an exciting opportunity to join the wider Operational Team at Queen’s Sport in delivering a world class service to our students, members and the wider community with a focus on improving the health and wellbeing of all users. The roles will have a central focus on delivering high quality and safe sporting environments for all our users across all facilities while emphasising on excellent customer care. The successful candidate will have: Secondary School education (e.g. GCSE level or NVQ equivalent). Current valid RLSS NPLQ. Experience working as a Pool Lifeguard with emphasis on customer care.
