LiveSmart ManagerChichesterOlder Peoples Housing12 Week Contract25 Hours£14.33 LTD / £12.22 PAYE (inc hol)We have an exciting opportunity for a LiveSmart Manager in Chichester, providing vital support in maintaining the safety, security, and well-being of older residents in a housing association setting.

THE ROLE

As a LiveSmart Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, maintenance, and health & safety compliance of a residential housing scheme. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for residents, contractors, and visitors
  • Managing access to the building and communal facilities
  • Coordinating and supervising repairs, maintenance, and servicing
  • Monitoring and facilitating the resolution of complaints related to communal areas
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, and fire safety procedures
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify and address security or maintenance issues
  • Managing rent accounts and providing guidance to residents on property upkeep
  • Performing water testing, emergency lighting, and fire safety checks

THE CANDIDATE

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in housing, facilities management, or a similar role. Additional requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills with a resident-focused approach
  • Knowledge of housing and building management best practices
  • Understanding of health & safety and fire safety compliance
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proficient in IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

THE CONTRACT

  • 25 hours per week, 5 hours per day (flexible schedule)
  • 12-week contract with potential for extension
  • £14.33 per hour (LTD) / £12.22 per hour (PAYE, incl. holiday pay)
