About the Role Syntech Recruitment are currently working with a Global company who are looking for a dedicated Logistics Operative to join the team. This role involves receiving and booking customers’ assets, coordinating with third-party couriers (both national and international), and overseeing the efficient movement of goods. If you are detail-oriented and passionate about logistics, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Receive and manage customers assets upon delivery
Book assets into the company management system (EMS)
Collaborate with the team to meet customer deadlines
Address internal and external queries promptly
Verify deliveries against paperwork and purchase orders
Schedule and monitor shipments for timely delivery
Safely and effectively pack assets for third-party shipments
Operate company vehicles for collections and deliveries as needed
Identify and report variances between orders and deliveries
Support the administration team with logistics-related tasks
Follow company systems and procedures
Comply with QHSE policies and guidelines
Assist other departments as required
Perform additional duties as needed
Adapt to flexible working hours to meet customer needs
Skills and Experience
Minimum of 5 GCSEs at level 4 or higher (or equivalent), with strong numeracy and literacy skills
Proficiency in using computers and software applications
Valid driving license
Self-motivated and eager to learn and develop
Capable of working independently and managing workload
Strong adherence to work procedures and practices
Excellent attention to detail
