About the Role As our Marketing Executive, youll work closely with our Marketing Manager, and eLearning Team, to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement through creative, multi-channel campaigns. In this role, youll take ownership of lead generation efforts and form a close partnership with our eLearning sales team, with your outreach efforts and their sales strategies aligning to turn high-quality leads into real sales opportunities. This is a proactive, collaborative position where your contributions will directly fuel our brands growth and success in the eLearning sector. What Youll Be Doing Creating Engaging Campaigns: Creating digital marketing campaigns for our eLearning courses across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This includes B2B lead generation, but we also value creative B2C thinkers who bring fresh perspectives to business marketing. Weekly Campaign Execution: Manage and execute weekly email marketing campaigns to targeted audiences, ensuring consistent brand messaging and timely course promotions. Use segmentation and automation tools within our CRM HubSpot to maximise engagement, leads, and track performance. Content Development: Crafting written and graphic marketing content think eye-catching emails, compelling social media posts, engaging web copy, and sales collateral that connects with our target audiences. Social Media Marketing & Strategy: Develop and post social media content weekly across platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter to increase visibility and engagement with our courses. Coordinate social media strategy with larger campaign goals, using insights to adjust as needed. Cross-functional Collaboration: Working hand-in-hand with our eLearning sales department to generate, qualify, and refine leads, ensuring a seamless transition from lead generation to conversion. Youll share insights, align strategies, and support the sales team in maximising every leads potential. Google Ads and SEO Management: Working with agencies to develop, manage, and optimise Google Ads campaigns to increase visibility and generate leads for our eLearning courses. Implement SEO best practices on web and blog content to enhance organic search rankings, drive website traffic, and improve search engine visibility. Showcasing Success: Work in collaboration with Sales to gather client testimonials and success stories to create case studies that showcase the value of our eLearning solutions. Use these assets across digital channels to build credibility and drive interest. Cross-Promotion: Collaborate with the Knowledge and Events teams to promote eLearning content and offerings on the Hub platform and at events. Regularly update content and advertisements to reflect current course offerings and promotions. Reporting and Data-Driven Decisions: Using data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and our CRM (HubSpot) to monitor campaign success, gather insights, and continuously improve our marketing strategy and report on this on a monthly basis. Regularly review metrics and adjust strategies to optimise engagement and conversions. Design & Print Management: Coordinate with designers to produce digital and print marketing materials. Oversee print management, proof assets, and ensure brand consistency across all materials. Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and emerging opportunities in the eLearning sector. Analyse competitor offerings, audience behaviour, and industry benchmarks to inform and adjust marketing strategies. Use findings to help refine messaging and uncover growth opportunities. Representing Legal Island at occasional conferences and events to promote our eLearning solutions. Staff outings and ad hoc perks ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Knowledge Third-level qualification in marketing or a related field, or a professional qualification from The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). Technically savvy, with experience using Microsoft Office applications, email marketing software, CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), and CMS platforms. (e.g. Craft or WordPress) Understanding of online marketing concepts and platforms, with a good grasp of social media channels, particularly LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. Financial awareness, with skills in budgeting and planning. Experience 3+ years of experience in a B2C marketing role, OR 2+ years experience in a B2B marketing role, in a busy, company environment (can include a university placement year). Proven ability to develop digital marketing campaigns, with a focus on customer acquisition, and engagement across email, social media, and paid advertising channels. Strong content creation skills, including email marketing, social media management, and copywriting. Experience using a CMS to maintain and optimise websites, following brand guidelines and tone of voice. Proven experience in working collaboratively across departments. Experience in marketing analytics and reporting. Skills Ability to think and write clearly and creatively, including having excellent spelling and grammar Proficiency in designing simple graphics and marketing assets using Canva or software. Ability to reuse and repurpose written content created elsewhere in the business for marketing use, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand messaging. Excellent organisational, communication, and prioritisation skills, with high attention to detail. Creative and proactive problem-solving skills, along with a can-do attitude and the ability to take initiative. Strong people skills, with a commitment to collaboration and a willingness to actively participate in team meetings and company development. Ownership mindset, taking complete responsibility for tasks and role contributions. Strong time management skills to thrive in our 4-day workweek and deliver high-quality work within shorter timelines. Circumstances Willingness to attend events across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland (3-5 annually), which may occasionally require overnight stays. DESIRABLE CRITERIA Understanding of SEO best practices for webpage optimisation and how to implement them. Demonstrated success working with sales teams to generate leads, contributing to sales goals. Experience gathering and curating client testimonials, case studies, and success stories to create compelling marketing materials Proven ability to develop digital marketing campaigns with a focus on lead generation Previous use of data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) to measure and report on campaign performance. Skills in video-editing for simple short-form reels Experience of implementing PPC campaigns. A full, clean driving licence or some other form of access to transport to fulfil the obligations of the role.
