The Role – Maths Teaching Assistant
You will be working as a Maths Teaching Assistant in the Maths Department assisting pupils with Maths. These pupils will be performing at a low ability and will need the support from a Maths Teaching Assistant. You will work closely with the Maths Teacher and Maths Head Of Department. As the Maths Teaching assistant you will be required to work 1-1 with pupils needing the extra support. You may be working in small groups as well as the Maths Teaching Assistant.
The School – Mainstream Secondary School
The school is a ‘Outstanding’ Mixed Mainstream Secondary school, part of an academy. The pupils aged between 11-18 years old. There are 1300 pupils that attend the school. The school hours are 8.30-15.30, there is parking on site and local transport links.
