Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and a passion for ensuring vehicle safety and compliance. you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and repairs on vehicles to ensure they meet legal standards. This role requires attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive inspections, including checking brakes, lights, tyres,
• Identify any defects or issues that may affect vehicle safety and performance.
• Complete repairs on vehicles to a high standard
• Use power tools and hand tools effectively to carry out repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace while adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist with heavy lifting of vehicle components when necessary.

Experience

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with using power tools and hand tools in a workshop environment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during inspections and repairs.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and provide clear explanations of findings.

Requirements

• Full driving licence
• Have a variety of tools and equipment of their own to use

Salary will be dependant on experience.
