With over 25 years of proven success and innovation, they are looking to recruit a Mechanical Electrical Fitter to join their production team on a permanent basis. This role would suit someone with an electrically biased background who is confident reading engineering drawings and working with control panels, wiring, and mechanical components. You’ll play a vital role in assembling, testing, and checking high-quality systems to precise specifications.Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to carry out accurate product assembly.
- Manufacture and assemble both mechanical and electrical components.
- Wire control boxes and complete machine systems.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical fault finding.
- Work to ISO processes and compliance standards.
- Carry out final testing and product quality checks.
- Maintain high standards of workplace safety and housekeeping.
- Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly (electrically biased preferred).
- Familiarity with pneumatic systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, read technical drawings, and follow procedures accurately.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Applications, such as Word and Excel.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on safety and quality.
