Nursery Assistant (NVQ Level 3 Required)

Salary: £13.00 P/H

Are you passionate about working with young children and helping them to grow and develop in a safe and nurturing environment? We are looking for a dedicated Nursery Assistant with an NVQ Level 3 qualification to join our caring and professional team at a local promary school. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children’s early years education.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the delivery of high-quality care and education to children aged 1-4. .

* Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote the development of children’s physical, emotional, and social skills.

* Foster a positive and inclusive environment for children and staff.

* Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to individual development plans.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for the children.

* Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.

* Assist in the smooth running of the nursery and maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment.

Essential Criteria:

* NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Education and Childcare (or equivalent qualification).

* A genuine passion for working with young children.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

* Ability to work as part of a team and individually.

* DBS check (we will assist with the process if needed).

Desirable Criteria:

* Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

* Paediatric first aid qualification (can be provided if required).
