Job Title: Early Years Assistant

Salary: £13.69 – £13.80 per hour

TeacherActive is currently recruiting passionate Early Years Assistants to work across a range of nurseries and early years settings throughout South East London. This is a great chance to gain valuable experience, work with different teams, and help support children aged 0-5 years during a crucial stage in their development.

Your Role Will Involve:
Assisting with play activities, routines, and meal/snack times
Supporting children’s learning and emotional wellbeing
Helping to create a warm, secure, and stimulating environment
Working alongside Early Years Practitioners and other staff
Being adaptable and confident working with children across different age groups
We’re Looking For:
A kind, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
Experience working with children, either paid or voluntary
Level 2 in Childcare (desirable but not essential)
A basic understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
