Nursery Assistant – Working with Children Aged 0-5

About the Role:
As a Nursery Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced team to provide high-quality care and early education to children in our nursery. Your key responsibilities will include:

Supporting the delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children’s development across all areas of learning
Assisting with daily routines, including feeding, nap time, and hygiene practices
Building strong, supportive relationships with the children in your care, fostering their social and emotional development
Observing and recording children’s progress and sharing insights with senior staff
Encouraging positive behaviour and helping to create a safe, welcoming environment
Working closely with parents and carers to ensure the best outcomes for each child
Supporting children with additional needs where required

Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £13.09 per hour
Hours – 8:30 – 15.30

Experience, Training and Qualifications

GCSE’s or equivalent
Minimum 1 year working with children
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

Eligibility

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
