Nursery Practitioner – Full-Time – Immediate Start
Location: Scunthorpe Primary School
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Start Date: Immediate
Qualification: Minimum Level 2 in Early Years or Childcare
We are looking for a passionate and nurturing Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly and dedicated early years team in a welcoming primary school in Scunthorpe.
This is a full-time role offering an immediate start for the right candidate. You will play a key part in supporting the learning, development, and well-being of children aged 3–5 years, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
What We’re Looking For:

A minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential)

Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting (school-based preferred)

A warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach

Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and families

Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
*
Reliability and flexibility in a busy school environment
