Description
Location: Irlam, Manchester
Salary: £26,000 per annum (£13.51 per hour)
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 15:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee the daily administrative tasks within the company, ensuring smooth operations.
– Provide support to the Sales Director with customer management, emails, research, and occasional cold calling.
– Handle customer inquiries via phone, ensuring excellent phone manners and clear communication.
– Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) to manage daily tasks efficiently.
– Manage invoicing and purchase requirements using the company’s accounting system (training will be provided).
– Book and coordinate transport requests with hauliers for customer orders.
– Filing, photocopying and scanning.
Requirements:
– Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone.
– Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Email.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit, family-oriented team.
– A positive attitude, along with punctuality, integrity and loyalty, are key qualities we value.
– Previous experience in administration or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
