We’re working with a successful business on the outskirts of York that is looking for an Office Administrator to join their team.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same, supporting the business with everything from speaking with suppliers and placing orders, to booking global travel for the team.
You’ll be a go-to person for office admin, making sure everything runs smoothly while also supporting wider teams in the UK and internationally.
Some of the Office Administrator duties will include:
Welcoming visitors and providing general office support.
Answering calls and emails, assisting with queries.
Liaising with suppliers, obtaining quotes, and placing orders.
Handling receipt of orders and processing Purchase Invoices
Processing company expenses
Supporting with stock checks
Helping to organise events and trade shows, including bookings, paperwork, and logistics.
Arranging global travel – booking flights, hotels, and hire cars.We are looking for someone with strong computer skills, who enjoys working in a small team but can also collaborate with wider team who is a self-starter who can use their initiative.
This role offers flexible working options including Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, or Monday to Thursday 8:30am-5pm and Fridays 8:30am-2pm. This will be earning a salary at or around £25,000 depending on experience. Part-time hours may also be considered for an experienced Administrator.
