Hays Business support are seeking an office assistant on a full-time basis in Melton Mowbray, where the company prides itself on creating a supportive and engaging work environment.
Your new role
Key responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Handling communications, including phone calls, emails, and physical mail
- Scheduling meetings, appointments, and managing calendars
- Maintaining office supplies inventory and placing orders when necessary
- Assisting in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Developing and updating administrative systems to make them more efficient
- Organising and storing paperwork, documents, and computer-based information
- Greeting visitors and providing general support to visitors
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed, you must have proven experience as an office assistant, admin assistant or in another relevant administrative role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word, as well as having excellent communication skills both verbally and written. You must be able to prioritise your workload and have strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
