Utopian Professional Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a brand-new client located in Glasgow City Centre and support them with the recruitment of a Outbound Sales Advisor.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a ambitious and resilient individual who offers experience working in sales. You will work as part of a truly successful and supportive team with opportunities to grow within the business.

You will be responsible for driving lead generation efforts and nurture relationships with potential customers to identify sales opportunities. You will focus on the early stages of the sales process, aiming to generate interest, qualify prospects whilst building strong relationships.

Your main duties will include:

  • Proactively identify potential customers through research, outbound calls, emails, social media and other prospecting techniques
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their needs, pain points and identify fit for the company’s products or services
  • You will build and maintain strong relationships with prospects through consistent follow ups, answering initial questions and providing product information
  • You will schedule meetings or demos for the Business Development Managers with qualified prospects to advance them to the next stage of the sales cycle
  • Keep detailed records of all prospecting activities, lead information and sales pipeline
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors, understanding the market landscape to effectively position the company offerings
  • Work towards and achieve individual targets which include outbound contacts, qualified leads and scheduled meetings to contribute towards the company revenue goals

To be considered for this amazing opportunity, we are looking for the following experience / background:

  • 1-2 years experience minimum in a sales environment, customer service or related role
  • Outbound B2B experience would be advantageous
  • Experience of engaging with new customers, have the confidence to identify new opportunities and the provide up to date product information
  • Not afraid to ask open questions, engage with customers and arrange appointments
  • Naturally confident, resilient and outgoing
  • You must be organised and be able to juggle a variety of tasks
  • Strong team player with excellent communications skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and towards KPI’s / targets
  • Ambitious, proactive and naturally outgoing & positive
  • Adapt well to change, friendly & approachable
  • Ability to juggle a variety of tasks and think on your feet

Benefits

  • Full Time, permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday 8.30-5pm
  • This will be an office based role in Glasgow City Centre
