Description
The key responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant will include:
Assisting with the preparation of financial reports
Updating and maintaining accounting journals and ledgers
Assisting in the processing of invoices and expense forms
Supporting the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
Ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations
Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes
Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc accounting tasksProfile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
A solid understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
AAT qualified or working towards professional qualification
Excellent numerical skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
A proactive approach to work
Good team-working skills
The ability to work well under pressure

A salary range between £26,000 – £30,000 per annum
22.5 Hour Working Week – Split across 3, 4 or 5 Working Days
