We have a great opportunity for a Part-Time Administrator to join a small team in a truly unique business based in Luton.

It is an office-based role to support the administration of the Society including membership, invoicing, keeping updated financial records and other administrative duties. You will play a key role in developing the membership in line with the 5-year strategic vision of the Society in the dynamic and exciting world they are in!

This will sometimes entail working outside of normal office hours and may include weekends and/or overnights.

Key Responsibilities:

· Key contact for all membership enquiries, renewals and processing of new applications

· Maintain an up-to-date record of the membership database

· Liaise with the Membership Committee to provide membership, analysis, information and updates

· Organise and attend committee meetings virtually

· Responsible for communicating with event co-organisers and keeping financial records relating to the annual exhibition

· Administration of the Seminar Programmes for the exhibition

· Assist the Marketing Manager in the preparation of the exhibition

· Administration of the Annual Dinner

· Organise and attend up to two lectures each year

· Active member of a committee that you are assigned to

· Pro-actively communicate with all event attendees to promote Society membership and/or encourage attendance at future events

· Responsible for payment of invoices / creating invoices

· Processing card payments

· Keeping robust records and an updated reporting system

· Liaison with the Accountant

· Full administration of the annual exhibition Award

· Purchasing awards

· Responsible for office maintenance and liaison with landlords and suppliers

· Responsible for office supplies and maintenance of equipment

What the employer is looking for:

· 3+ years working in a similar administration position

· Excellent communication skills at all levels

· Proven administrative and organisational skills essential

· Computer literate including knowledge of Excel / Word / PowerPoint

· Able to manage work-flow and deadlines efficiently

· Flexibility to attend up to 5 events a year, mostly lectures in London and one overnight stay
