Hayward Hawk are delighted to be working once again with our client to help recruit for a detail-focused Payroll Administrator in Newry. This is afull time permanent role. What you'll do Accurately process payroll for UK and Republic of Ireland employees, ensuring payments are made on time. Keep payroll records up to date, including salary details, tax information, and leave balances. Respond to employee queries regarding pay, deductions, and leave entitlements. Prepare and issue payslips, P45s, P60s, and other required payroll documents. Generate payroll-related reports and contribute to weekly performance updates. Investigate and resolve any payroll issues or discrepancies. Provide occasional support to the wider finance team when needed. What you'll need At least 1 year of experience working in a payroll role, ideally covering both the UK and Ireland. Confident using SAGE 50 Payroll and good with Excel spreadsheets. Knowledge of how workplace pensions work (especially NEST and Aegon). Strong attention to detail and great at keeping accurate records. Able to juggle multiple tasks and stick to deadlines.
