Planned Maintenance Administrator

Bridgnorth – Office Based

Permanent

Monday to Friday, 8.30 am – 5 pm (30 minute lunch)

Salary – £28,000

We are proud to be working with a well-established and rapidly expanding organisation in Bridgnorth that continues to grow from strength to strength. As part of their continued success, they are now looking to welcome a Planned Maintenance Administrator to join their busy and supportive team. This is a fully office-based role and hybrid working is not offered.

This is a key administrative and coordination role, where you will be responsible for managing scheduled maintenance activities across a portfolio of clients nationwide. Your role will ensure essential works are carried out efficiently, on time, and in full compliance with regulations—while balancing engineer availability and travel logistics.

You will be responsible for:

* Managing planned maintenance schedules for a portfolio of clients across the UK.

* Monitoring deadlines to ensure maintenance is completed within compliance requirements.

* Scheduling engineers based on skill level, availability, and location to maximise efficiency.

* Reviewing engineers’ diaries to minimise travel time and ensure logical routing of jobs.

* Receiving and reviewing completed reports, escalating any urgent follow-up work to the remedial team.

* Ensuring all regulatory and compliance documentation is completed, filed, and shared with clients as required.

* Liaising with subcontractors when internal teams are unavailable.

* Providing effective solutions and calmly managing urgent or last-minute scheduling issues.

Skills and Experience

* Experience in a scheduling, maintenance coordination, facilities support, or similar role (engineering or construction background ideal).

* Exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.

* Strong communication and problem-solving ability.

* A calm and professional telephone manner.

* Ability to handle a fast-paced workload with multiple moving parts.

* Proficiency with IT systems and general administrative tasks.

If you’re a natural organiser who thrives on solving logistical puzzles and ensuring things run smoothly, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
