ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is looking for a Complex Needs SEND TA for an Ofsted “Good” school in Barking.
The school caters for students for students who have complex needs and leaners learn from sensory and visual learning. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff. Aspects of Personal Care would be required for this role.
Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
Location – Barking

Type of work – SEND 1:1 Support
Contract or position start date – ASAP
Duration / Likely Duration – 2 terms until end of the academic year July 2025
Contract or position end date (if applicable) – July 2025
Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – Temporary
Full time/part time – Full time
Minimum rate of pay – £90-100 per day.
Hours – 08:30-16:00
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Previous SEND experience or care home work would be ideal.
Be able to travel to Barking daily
PMLD experience
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
