We are recruiting for a great opportunity to work as a Polishing Technician to join a well-known, reputable company based in Southampton. This is a hands on role where you will be working with small parts and components, polishing them in a factory environment. This is a fantastic vacancy to join a highly respected employer on a full time permanent basis where you’ll be given full training and lots of opportunity to develop in the long term.
The Polishing Technician Role
You will be responsible for carrying out polishing work on small mechanical products using ultrasonic machines and steam cleaners. You will follow set procedures, logging all the work that is undertaken. You will be carefully handling all components, ensuring they meet brand standards.
The Ideal Candidate for the Polishing Technician Role
For this role it is important you have great hand-eye coordination with the ability to work in a busy and productive environment. You’ll need to be hard working, reliable and be able to work with high accuracy. It will be advantageous if you possess experience operating machinery but this is not essential.
