Your new company
Hays is delighted to present a role on behalf of a private-sector client based in the Birmingham City Centre. Due to the growth of the business, the finance team are looking to bring in a pricing/cost assistant to support with the maintenance of the systems used by the company.
Your new role
Examples of the responsibilities the successful candidate carries out include, but are not limited to:

– Addressing pricing and system-related queries from Business Development Managers
– Ensuring accuracy of company product costs, pricing structures and recipes in the system
– Log and resolve pricing or stock discrepancies reported by business departments
– Liaising with external software suppliers to ensure accurate pricing analysis and programme functionality
– Other ad-hoc tasks, including supporting the finance team

What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed with your application, you will need:
– Experience in a departmental support role, particularly pricing/costing
– Experience with data/finance

What you’ll get in return
– Salary of circa 27K
– One day a week at home
