Position: PrimarySchool Teaching Assistant
Location: Wimbledon, South West London
Salary: £80+/day
Type: Full-Time, Temporary or Permanent
Start: January 2025
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Wimbledon. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain first-hand experience in a classroom setting, supporting the educational development of young children. We’re here to support you every step of the way, offering guidance and training to help you feel confident and develop the skills needed to advance your career in primary teaching.
The Role:
* Support the classroom teacher with daily teaching and learning activities.
* Provide oneon-one and small group support to students.
* Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
* Work closely with the teaching team to help students reach their full potential.
* Be available fulltime, Monday to Friday (8:30 AM to 4:00 PM).
Primary School Teaching Assistant Requirements:
* Experience working with children or in an educational setting
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
* Fulltime availability during term times.
