Primary Teaching Assistant – Andover

Start Date: September 2025
Position: Full-time (Temporary to Permanent hire period)
Pay: £13.75 per hour

Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a positive impact in the classroom? A vibrant primary school in Andover is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities
Support children’s learning and social development
Help with planning and delivering engaging lessons
A chance to make a real difference in children’s education
Requirements:

Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
A proactive and nurturing approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Relevant qualifications are an advantage
A child only DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
