Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant

£12.86 – £13.50 Per hour

Job Duties:

Assist the primary teacher in delivering lessons and supporting students
Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Provide support for students with special educational needs
Assist in preparing classroom materials and resources

Required Qualifications:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working with children in an educational environment

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of child development and learning processes
Ability to work effectively in a team
Patience and empathy when working with students

Preferred Qualifications:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
First aid certification

Working Conditions:

Work in a primary school setting
Full-time hours, temporary position
Potential for working with students with special educational needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
