The Recruitment Group is looking for a Bakery Production Operative to work for our new client based in Barrow upon Soar. We are seeking a Bakery Production Operative who can follow instructions and work quickly in a team environment. If you feel this could be your role, please read the below. Pay for the Bakery Production Operative:
£11.44 to £12.50 per hour depending on experience
Hours:
Monday to Friday – 7am to 3pm
30 minute unpaid break
About the role – temp to perm
You will be working within a food production environment and your duties will include:
Working within the bakery section, making and prepping products per specifications, training, and instructions
Clean ovens, prep workstations, and tools
Ensure all equipment operates properly at all times
Adhering to hygiene working practices to ensure the highest possible standards, and all procedures relating to food safety, legality, and quality are adhered to
About You:
Happy to work in a fast-paced environment
One year’s experience in a bakery environment
You must be resourceful and adaptable
Moving ingredients and equipment around during production
Comfortable with handling, preparing, and baking food which involves long periods of standing, lifting, and carrying as well as other tasks such as cleaning
Must be able to change tasks or areas as requested
Good communication skills – verbal and written
Need to have a can-do attitude and be willing to get stuck in
Work as part of a team and be able to follow instruction
All body piercings, false eyelashes, and false nails must be removed
All nail varnish must be removed
A Food Hygiene certificate would be beneficial but not essential
