Production Operative

Location Peterborough

  • Job Type: Contract 6 months – Temp to Perm for the right candiate
  • Full Time Monday – Friday 7.00 to 4pm
  • £28,00 per annum

Due to continued growth, our client based in Peterborough who manufacture specialist commercial vehicles, have an opportunity for Production Operatives to join their knowledgeable team. Possibility of a permanent position after successful trial period.

Responsibilities

  • Manual Handling
  • Parts assembly based on technical drawings
  • Working with bonding agent
  • Use of power/air tools, saws, drills
  • Work at height to complete the builds when needed
  • Compliant with all relevant health and safety requirements

Requirements for the role

  • Read and understand written instructions
  • Maintaining high standards of quality
  • Reliable character with good time keeping
  • Mechanical background or experience in a similar role advantageous
