Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Shobdon, Near Leominster
Hours : 06:00-16:00 / 4 shifts between Monday and Saturday
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday
Week 3: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday
Job Type : Permanent
Salary: £23,000 per annum
Job Role:
* Ensuring chick welfare protocols are adhered to, e.g. vaccinations, health checks.
* Ensuring chicks are sorted into the required grades and quantities, ready for farm delivery
* Cleaning all equipment after use to the required high standards
* Safeguarding bio security and following these strict procedures
* Observing bird welfare and health and safety on site at all times
Skills and Experience needed:
* A good level of English and basic numeracy skills
* Good teamwork and communication skills
* Attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
