They take meticulous care and pride at every stage of the coffee journey from tasting, sourcing and roasting, to supporting customers through coffee education, training and business guidance. They are currently looking for a Production Team Leader to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week from 6:00am 2:30pm. Occasional off-site travel may be required in line with business needs. The Role As a Production Team Leader, you will take responsibility for leading and motivating the on-site production team to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency targets are consistently met. In this key role, youll support the Production Manager in day-to-day operations, overseeing tasks such as reporting, team performance, and ensuring a clean, safe working environment. Specifically, you will: – Lead and motivate team members to create a positive working environment – Manage basic HR tasks such as holiday requests, sickness, and absence reporting – Monitor efficiency and provide regular performance updates to the Production Manager – Maintain high standards in cleanliness, presentation, safety, and labelling – Support stock reporting and reorder point alerts – Uphold SALSA accreditation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives – Promote the use of PPE and audit-readiness across the production floor About You To be considered as a Production Team Leader, you will need: – Confidence in handling day-to-day operational tasks with a high attention to detail – A conscientious attitude and the ability to work on your own initiative – A high level of communication skills – A commitment to continuous improvement, cleanliness, and safety standards Previous production experience and basic technical knowledge would be beneficial but are not essential.
