We are seeking a motivatedManufacturing Team Leaderfor our client based inSouth Lanarkshireto oversee production, quality, and labour resources, ensuring that production targets and customer deliveries are consistently met on time and in full.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote and ensurehealth and safety compliancewithin the team.

Driveproduction plan adherence, creating recovery plans as needed to meet delivery targets.

Monitor and improveKPIs and performance indicatorsin the production area.

Ensure full compliance with procedures, including:

Company guidelines

Work instructions and procedure sheets

Quality standards and equipment use

5S principles

Identify and implementimprovement opportunitiesthrough activities like Gemba Walks, 5S audits, and waste reduction initiatives.

Address quality issues promptly and effectively.

Manage the supply of materials and required documentation.

Coach and manage your team to achieve high performance

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to build and lead anengaged, high-performing team.
  • Management experience in afast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a focus on achieving daily targets.
  • Experience drivingcontinuous improvementin manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data-driven decision-making.

Additional Information:

The working week will initially be dayshift Monday to Friday, eventually transitioning to working a three-shift rotational pattern:

  • Dayshift 6am 2pm
  • Backshift 2pm 10pm
  • Nightshift 10pm 6am
