We work Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, offering 26 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays, Pension, Company Events and a commitment to Training and Development opportunities. Due to the nature of this position, it is fully office based.
This important role will monitor Consultants post induction, ensuring the Consultant has absorbed the induction training and is putting into practice all company requirements for a Consultant fee earner. You will support the Professional Standards Manager , mitigating risk by proactively monitoring all new and existing Consultants, identifying issues and ensuring these are resolved, flagging up key concerns to the Director of Professional Standards and the relevant Legal Head.
The consultancy programme is a major part of the success of Taylor Rose MW and is in the top 4 consultancy platform in the legal sector. The consultancy programme continues to grow rapidly year on year, with key focus given to only attracting the best solicitors that will fit with the values and aspirations of the firm.
This role involves but is not limited to:
Following the on boarding process:
* Ensuring correct and full usage of the CMS.
* Ensuring Consultants are following precedents, policies and procedures.
* Identifying any training requirements and arranging re-training.
* Identifying and analysing any potential risk to the firm, ensuring this is dealt with and resolved, flagging as necessary to the Professional Standards Manager, Legal Head or Director.
On-going Monitoring
* Monitoring file levels and working with Consultants to keep them within Lexcel standards.
* Ensuring files are archived correctly in tandem with other departments.
* Ensuring closed files are received
* Providing support with any MOL queries.
* Carrying out hard close declarations.
Requirements:
* Previous experience of working in a large law firm desirable.
* Ability to communicate and build positive business relationships at all levels.
* Ability to manage own workload.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently.
* Ability to work in extremely pressurised environments.
* Critical thinking ability.
* Up to date knowledge of policies and IT systems.
* Sound understanding of regulatory duties.
* Strong data analysis.
