Description
This local business is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to support them with a current high workload. The role will require someone who has experience of dealing with a high volume of Purchase orders and someone who can work accurately and with pace ideally. Working in small accounts function this role is initially temporary but may have scope to go permanent and offer a more diverse range of duties, this role will report to the Finance Manager.
Job Description:
Matching purchase orders to invoices (high volume)
Obtaining authorisation from Managers for invoices
Checking statements
Sending remittances
Dealing with enquiries
Effectively managing the email inbox Candidate Requirements:
Previous purchase ledger experience – working with high volumes
Meticulous attention to detail
The ability to work at pace with accuracy
Someone who can work using their own initiative
Someone who can communicate at all levels Hours: Monday – Thursday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Friday 9:00 am – 4:30 pm
Salary: £13.00 per hour
