My client, an international wholesaler and distributor based in Neasden NW London are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their small finance team. Reporting directly into the Financial Director, you’ll provide accurate and timely support to the Finance team with your main focus being purchase ledger.

You will be responsible for matching purchase invoices to delivery notes. This job requires someone who can work under pressure with a very high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The job will also involve assisting the Accounts Manager with:

* Filing of delivery notes

* Printing invoices that are sent via email and loaded online

* Pulling out purchase invoices to be paid as and when needed

* Assisting with filing unpaid and paid invoices

Key Skills/Attributes

* Relevant experience in a purchase ledger role useful is essential

* Effective verbal and written communication

* Good attention to detail

* Able to prioritise and organise work-load

* Problem solving

* Numerate and literate

* Excellent IT skills in Excel/Word/Outlook

The ideal candidate will have had previous experience in a similar role, be confident in the Microsoft Office packages, in particular Word and Excel and demonstrate a high attention for detail.

Our client is offering a salary of upto £24,000 + Benefits. This role is office based and working hours are 8:30am to 5pm with a 1 hour lunch. They are conveniently located close to Neasden tube station.
