We are currently seeking 4 reliable and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerks to join a fast-paced finance team in Tipton. This is an immediate start, temporary role offering £13 per hour, with the possibility for the role to become permanent based on performance. Key Responsibilities:
– Process and record all incoming supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
– Match purchase orders with invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
– Ensure all invoices are coded correctly to the appropriate cost centres.
– Handle supplier queries promptly and professionally.
– Assist with monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
– Support the finance team with any ad-hoc tasks as required.
– Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all purchase ledger activities.
Requirements:
– Previous experience in a purchase ledger/accounts payable role.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
– Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
– Proficient in using accounting software (experience with Sage or similar systems is desirable).
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
– Immediate availability to start is essential.
