QA Technician

Jobstore are currently recruiting for a QA Technician to join a leading food related manufacturer based in Burnley working initially on a 30 hours part-time basis, moving to full time with the needs of the business in the future.

As a the Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of manufactured products by conducting thorough quality assessments and general production checks on site.

Typical duties will be;

• Conduct comprehensive quality checks on products at various stages of the production process to identify any defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from established standards.
• Collaborate closely with all teams on site including production, design, and quality assurance to address any identified issues and recommend necessary corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed records of quality assessments, observations, and findings, and communicate this information effectively to relevant stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements to consistently apply best practices and innovative solutions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, guidelines, and standards, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

What are we looking for?

• Able to show great attention to detail and meticulousness in conducting quality assessments, particularly within the food production industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to convey quality-related information clearly and professionally to diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong Administration skills and proficiency in relevant software and tools used for quality assessments, data recording, and reporting.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet shifting priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
• Commitment to upholding safety protocols, quality standards, and industry regulations.

We are seeking an individual who thrives in on-site environments where production processes are quick and a high priority. A food hygiene certificate would be beneficial although not essential.
