Simply Education are looking to recruit supply teaching assistants in the Oxford area to keep up with local demand for inspirational, enthusiastic and passionate Teaching assistants that can assist with day to day, short term supply cover or even morning or afternoon cover.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the educational development of our students. Your role will involve assisting in the classroom, helping to implement lesson plans, and providing one-on-one support to students with varying needs.

Key Responsibilities:
– Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
– Assist with classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
– Provide individual support to students, particularly those with additional needs.
– Help with preparation of teaching materials and resources.
– Monitor and record student progress and behavior.
– Foster strong relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development.

Requirements:
– Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar educational role (preferred but not essential).
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– A passion for working with children and supporting their learning journey.
– Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable.
– A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
