We are excited to announce a brand-new opportunity for a Quality Assurance Support Officer in Encompass. This part-time role will directly support the Associate Director for Quality & Learning and work within the Governance Team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centeredsupport.

As a key member of our governance team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of quality assurance initiatives, maintaining compliance with CQC regulations, and driving continuous improvement across all of our services.

Location:Hybrid/ Dorchester

Hours: 20 hours per week.

Pay Scale: 13,452.84 up to 14,078.56 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Associate Director for Quality & Learning in conducting internal Quality Monitoring across all services, actively promoting good practice.

  • Identifying and escalating non-compliance issues to the relevant teams, ensuring all services meet legislative and regulatory standards.

  • Conduct regular audits either remotely (via desktop analysis) or on-site at services.

  • Monitor and support services with their Service Improvement & Development (SID) plans, ensuring timely resolution of issues identified during audits.

  • Assist the Associate Director for Quality & Learning in preparing regular reports on Quality Compliance.

  • Support the development and updating of QA procedures, ensuring they align with current regulatory requirements and best practices.

About You:

You are an experienced professional with a proven background in adult social care, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection processes. You possess strong organisational skills, managing multiple tasks and priorities with efficiency. With excellent communication abilities, collaborate effectively across departments and with a variety of stakeholders. Additionally, you bring valuable experience in quality assurance and governance, with a focus on compliance within health and social care settings
