About the Role
At Harmony Manor, we are seeking compassionate and dedicated Children’s Support Workers to join our vibrant team. In this rewarding role, you will be a mentor, friend, and advocate for children who have faced significant challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide practical, day-to-day care for children in our home, including morning routines, mealtime assistance, and bedtime preparation.
* Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred activities that promote cultural, physical, and recreational development.
* Contribute to and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Foster therapeutic relationships that support emotional and social development.
* Monitor and document the care and treatment of children.
About You
We’re looking for resilient, empathetic individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children. Your life experiences will be invaluable in guiding and supporting our children. You will also need:
* Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
* Previous experience as a support worker, caring for children in a residential setting.
* Skills that demonstrate effective communication and critical thinking.
* A valid UK driving licence.
* The legal right to live and work in the UK.
