About the role
Guinness Property is expanding our team in Chesterfield and we are looking for a Roofers Mate to join our Repairs Team covering Guinness homes in Leeds, Rotherham and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will have previous roofing experience and be comfortable working at heights.To be considered for this post you will need to be able to commute to Leeds to meet the roofer. This is a full-time permanent vacancy working 39 hours per week, Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-4:30pm and Friday 8:00am-3:30pm.What we’re looking for

You’ll not only be a fully qualified and experienced Plumber but you’ll also have great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to provide a high-quality service in compliance with relevant procedures and legislation.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Proven ability to carry out minor remedial roofing works to a competent standard such as (but not limited to) guttering and slate replacement, minor leaks.
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment within agreed performance targets.
- Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
- Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
- Ability to operate safely having considered any environmental circumstances and possible risks including working at height(s).

A full current driving licence is needed so you can drive one of our vans when necessary. Offers are subject to satisfactory driving licence and onboarding checks. This position will require a basic DBS check which will be paid for by The Guinness Partnership.
