Are you a driven, ambitious individual looking to kickstart or advance your sales career in a dynamic and fast-growing business? Do you thrive on engaging with senior decision-makers and securing high-value opportunities? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!

About the Company

My client is a leading Political Intelligence and Analysis business, backed by private equity and experiencing rapid growth. With an established client base of over 600 organisations—including major financial firms, multinational corporations, and government bodies—they are a key player in political monitoring and advisory services across the UK and EU.

With recent significant investment in technology and expansion through acquisitions, now is an exciting time to join their commercial team and be part of their next growth phase.

The Role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll play a vital role in generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth. You’ll work closely with Business Development Managers (BDMs), Senior Analysts, and the marketing team to identify and engage high-value prospects.

This is not just another sales job—this is an opportunity to develop deep industry insights and build relationships with key stakeholders in business and government. This role comes with huge fast-tracked career progression opportunities and the opportunity to be promoted into a full 360 closing role within 6 months

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Outreach – Identify and engage potential clients through outbound calls, emails, and social outreach, as well as qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and events.

Meeting Booking – Secure high-quality meetings for the BDMs with prospects that fit the ideal customer profile.

Sales Collaboration – Work alongside BDMs and analysts to conduct discovery calls, understand client needs, and effectively communicate value propositions.

Market & Political Awareness – Stay informed on key political events and trends to craft compelling messaging strategies.

CRM & Process Management – Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and client interactions.

What We’re Looking For

We value attitude, drive, and potential as much as experience. You don’t need a political background, but you do need the willingness to engage with the industry and the determination to succeed in sales.

Resilience & Tenacity – A can-do attitude with the ability to overcome challenges.

Confidence & Gravitas – The ability to engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

Excellent Communication Skills – A natural ability to build relationships and articulate value.

Strong Organisation & Prioritisation – The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

A Proactive Mindset – A hunger for learning and self-improvement.

Sales Experience (Advantageous but Not Essential) – Previous experience in sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not a deal-breaker.
