About Us:
We are looking for an organized, proactive, and friendly School Administrator to join a Primary School based in Northampton and help ensure the smooth operation of our school. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting both teaching staff and students, providing a welcoming atmosphere, and managing a variety of administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the school office
Manage school records and data entry, including student files and attendance
Assist in scheduling meetings, events, and parent-teacher conferences
Answer phones and respond to emails from staff, parents, and the community
Assist with communication between school administration, staff, and families
Coordinate with teachers to support their administrative needs
Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for students and staff
Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
Perform other administrative tasks as required by school leadershipKey Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in an educational setting
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and school management software
High attention to detail and accuracy in handling data
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Experience with student records and general office procedures is preferred
Relevant qualifications or certifications in administration or education are a plus
